Born in Plymouth, Devon, Guy studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London and the National Opera Studia and started his opera career performing with the British Youth Opera.

Having made his professional London debut at Covent Garden (Linbury Theatre) in Yeoman of the Guard, Guy has sung with many opera companies throughout the UK, including amongst others First Act Opera, Unicorn Opera, Opera North East and White Horse Opera.

Recent roles include the title role in Don Giovanni, Figaro - Il Barbiere Di Siviglia, Marcello - La Boheme, Count Almaviva - Le Nozze Di Figaro and the Father - Hansel und Gretel. Musical Theatre roles include Billy - Carousel, The Husband - Putting it Together (Sondheim) and Emile de Becque - South Pacific.

Concert and gala work takes him throughout the UK and includes Mendelssohn - Elijah, Faure - Requiem, Orff - Carmina Burana and Brahms - Requiem. He has sung with Hallé Choir and in concert at the Royal Albert Hall. Future engagements include Escamillo - Carmen and the title role in Eugene Onegin.
