Anne Braley

Anne Braley

Originally from Surrey and now based in South Wales, Anne sang with City Opera and Opera for All in London, performing a wide range of operatic roles from the familiar, such as Carmen and Nicklausse (Tales of Hoffman) to the less well-known, such as Bianca in Puccini's La Rondine. Then, joining European Chamber Opera, she toured the UK in several productions and also took the part of Annina in La Traviata.

Elsewhere her roleshave included, Mistress Page (Merry Wives of Windsor), Prince Orlofsky (Die Fledermaus), Miss Benson (Lakme), Phoebe (Yeomen of the Guard), Lady Vernon (Haddon Hall) and Sorceress (Dido and Aeneas).

As a concert and oratorio soloist Anne has sung with a number of choral societies and choirs across Wales and South West England in works including Handel's Messiah, Beethoven's Mass in C, Mendekssohn's St. Paul and brahms Alto Rhapsody.

She also regularly performs with the quartet Viva to the Diva. Anne currently studies with Elizabeth Ritchie.
